Professional skin needling produces thousands of micro-needle columns in the skin, which in turn stimulates the skin to naturally regenerate and repair itself.

The holes close up quickly while your skin’s natural processes are kick-started under the surface. As part of this stimulation new collagen can be formed, new skin cells generated and the structure of the dermis, the lower level of the skin, enhanced. This natural process takes time, so it can take up to six weeks before you see significant results – although the process will continue over the following months and several treatments are usually required. The results are not only smoother, brighter rejuvenated skin, but it can also lead to an improvement in the appearance of acne scars and stretch marks.

EDS REVITALISE TREATMENT

EDS Revitalise is the perfect treatment if you’re looking for a more youthful complexion, but don’t want the downtime or time commitment of a more intensive treatment.

With a short needle length it targets the epidermis, the top layer of skin to leave it:

• Plumper with fewer fine lines
• Brighter with a glowing complexion
• Smoother with an improved texture

Because the needle length used during the treatment is short (up to 0.3mm) there’s no need for topical anaesthetic. With minimal discomfort and downtime it’s perfect for those who have time pressures but want to see a change in their skin, specifically a brighter, more youthful complexion.

EDS Revitalise uses the leading electronically powered EDS – Electro Derma Stamp Treatment to stimulate the epidermis, controlling the intensity and needle length throughout the procedure to maximise results.

During the procedure a hydrating serum will be applied while the handpiece glides smoothly across your skin. You’ll feel a little vibration and a slight prickling sensation, which is perfectly comfortable. Treatments tend to last around 20 minutes You should expect your overall appointment to last around 40 minutes – so it can even be done in your lunch hour!

The recommended treatment course is 3 treatments at a minimum of 4 weeks apart.

After the treatment your skin will appear red like it’s a little sunburnt, but most of this will subside within a few hours, with only light flushing the following day.

EDS REGENERATE

EDS Regenerate targets both the epidermis and dermis (the top and lower level of your skin). With minimal downtime it’s a fantastic rejuvenating treatment that will change your skin leaving it:

• Brighter with reduced pigmentation
• It can even help to improve the appearance of acne scarring

Because the treatment uses longer needle lengths than the EDS Revitalise treatment (0.3-1.5mm), your skin will be numbed using a topical anaesthetic before the treatment is started. This makes it a perfectly comfortable treatment with minimal downtime. It’s the perfect way to get long-lasting, natural results in rejuvenation!

EDS Regenerate uses the Electro Derma Stamp Treatment an award winning innovation. Before your treatment is started your skin will be numbed with topical anaesthetic, so you’ll remain comfortable throughout. The actual treatment will take around 30 minutes depending on the area of skin that’s being treated – overall your appointment is likely to last just one hour – nothing when you consider the results that you’ll see! The recommended treatment course is usually three treatments at about six weeks apart.

After the treatment your skin will remain red, looking a lot like moderate sunburn, for around 24-36 hours.

The feeling associated with micro-needling is similar to light sandpaper being moved across the skin. While some areas are more sensitive than others, the speed of the reciprocating micro-needle tip reduces discomfort while a post-treatment hydrating gel also makes the procedure more tolerable. Prior to the treatment we will apply a topical numbing agent. Most people say they feel almost nothing after having been pretreated with a topical numbing agent.
