Lip Enhancement
FULLER, NATURAL-LOOKING LIPS
Lip enhancement is one of the most popular uses of facial fillers today to help create natural lip texture and smoothness for soft, smooth and kissable lips.
If your lips are naturally thin or you feel they have lost some of their previous volume or definition, then dermal fillers offer an effective treatment choice.
There has been tremendous growth in the use of dermal fillers over the last few years. Dermal fillers temporarily add volume and enhance the shape of your lip area giving a beautifully natural result. More people than ever are having this treatment very simply because it works very well.
A full smile is an extremely attractive feature – both for women and men of all ages. As well as creating a pretty pout, lip enhancement also works to smooth fine lines and enhance the mouth area as a whole. It is particularly helpful for smoker’s/lipstick lines.
Fuller or more balanced lips are high on many people’s wish list, with lip fillers being one of our most popular injectable treatments.
Our Lip Enhancement can:
- Add volume to thin lips
- Create a pronounced cupids bow
- Define the lip border for shape
- Balance uneven lips
- Reduce fine “smokers” lines
- Improve confidence
We will carefully examine your lip area and discuss your desired outcome. The treatment starts with the area being cleansed and numbed using a local anaesthetic. Then the dermal filler is injected into the lip area. We then gently massage the area to create a smooth, natural-looking result.
We can also use medical injectables to lift the corners of your mouth or to lower your lip line by millimetres if you have a particularly ‘gummy’ smile.
The procedure itself takes around 20 – 30 minutes. Results show immediately but are best after 2 weeks. Results can last up to six months.
Bruising and swelling are the most common side effects, but this should settle over a few days.
